OUR STORY

Cornmill Yard was relaunched in 2026 by husband and wife team, Becky and Zak Shotton with one simple goal, to create a place where people genuinely want to spend time.

We felt there was so much potential for our local community to have somewhere welcoming, relaxed and full of life, a place where you can grab a coffee, enjoy good food, meet friends, discover something new or simply unwind, all without having to travel far from home.

We know how busy life can get! Between work, family and everything else, it's easy to put off catching up with friends or trying something different. That's why we want Cornmill Yard to be the place that gives you a reason to make time.

Whether it's joining us for live music, a workshop, a coffee with friends or a family event, we hope there's always something that makes you think, "Let's go to Cornmill Yard."

For us, it's about much more than serving food and drinks. It's about creating a safe, welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable, conversations happen, friendships grow and our community comes together.
